Las primeras Jornadas de Urbanismo y G\u00e9nero: Ciudad en Construcci\u00f3n, que organiza el Ayuntamiento de M\u00e1laga, tienen como objetivo mostrar que la Igualdad de G\u00e9nero es una cuesti\u00f3n que tambi\u00e9n afecta a la estructura de la ciudad. La utilizaci\u00f3n que hombres y mujeres hacen de la ciudad, los espacios, zonas verdes, transportes p\u00fablicos y las propias viviendas, es diferente debido a que las vidas y los roles que desempe\u00f1an en ellas tambi\u00e9n lo son. Por otra parte, el acceso y el control de hombres y mujeres a estos bienes y recursos tambi\u00e9n es distinto. Hasta el momento el dise\u00f1o de las ciudades no ha tenido en cuenta dichas diferencias, es por eso que las ciudades (igual que casi todas las manifestaciones de la cultura androc\u00e9ntrica) tienen una impronta masculina ya que se han formado tomando como referente preferencial las necesidades de los varones.<\/p>\n

Una sociedad y una cultura democr\u00e1ticas deben articularse en un espacio igualitario y com\u00fan: la ciudad. Esta, a su vez, debe ser reflejo de un orden social igualitario en la que las diferentes necesidades e intereses de mujeres y hombres se vean satisfechos. Durante 2 d\u00edas se impartir\u00e1n conferencias, se establecer\u00e1n mesas de debate y se realizar\u00e1n rutas con perspectiva de g\u00e9nero por la ciudad para detectar y demostrar que la cuesti\u00f3n de g\u00e9nero es un aspecto fundamental que debe tenerse en cuenta en la estructura de una ciudad.<\/p>\n
