Seg\u00fan Salingaros, la gran mayor\u00eda de los edificios \u201cno se levantaron para alimentar las emociones humanas\u201d, el panorama mundial \u201cse ha obsesionado en la construcci\u00f3n de un ambiente est\u00e9ril\u201d, y algunos arquitectos \u201ctodav\u00eda viven en un universo fant\u00e1stico separado de su creaci\u00f3n arquitect\u00f3nica\u201d. La situaci\u00f3n actual \u201ces preocupante\u201d, prosigue el doctor, porque \u201cel estilo visual ha asumido una autoridad absoluta y se utiliza para vender otros productos industriales\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nikos A. Salingaros, nacido en Perth (Australia) pero criado en Grecia y las Bahamas, combina sus investigaciones con la docencia de las matem\u00e1ticas en la Universidad de Texas (EUA) desde el a\u00f1o 1983. Gracias a las colaboraciones desde 1982 con Christopher Alexander, Salingaros ha trabajado en la edici\u00f3n y configuraci\u00f3n de <em>La naturaleza del orden, <\/em>una obra de cuatro vol\u00famenes sobre arte, ciencia, naturaleza y belleza<em>. <\/em>Desde entonces, el Dr. Salingaros desarrolla sus investigaciones y teor\u00edas entorno a la arquitectura, la construcci\u00f3n y la forma de vida en la modernidad.
