Para quien no lo haya conocido, poco o nada representar\u00e1 la historia de este local. En realidad un cine m\u00e1s, o menos, de los muchos que ofrec\u00edan en los barrios de Madrid sus programas dobles de reestrenos en sesi\u00f3n cont\u00ednua.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_21077\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21077\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cine-marvi_02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-21077\" title=\"cine-marvi_02\" src=\"http:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cine-marvi_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"758\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cine-marvi_02.jpg 327w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cine-marvi_02-245x300.jpg 245w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-21077\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Cine \u201cMarvi\u201d, proyectado por los arquitectos Felipe Heredero y Carlos Sobrini, 1958 | urbancidades.wordpress.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>L<\/strong>a apertura en 1958 del cine \u201cMarvi\u201d, en la calle Cartagena casi esquina Avenida de America, desbanc\u00f3 a los que salpicaban la calle de L\u00f3pez de Hoyos, el <em>\u201cLopez de Hoyos\u201d<\/em> y el<em> \u201cCovadonga\u201d<\/em>. La novedad estuvo en que este cine fue el m\u00e1s moderno de su \u00e9poca en <strong>la Guindalera<\/strong> y <strong>la Prosperidad<\/strong>. Ten\u00eda programas dobles a diez pesetas y competia con el \u201c<em>Oraa\u201d<\/em>, con el <em>\u201cSilvela\u201d<\/em> y con los citados\u00a0<em> \u201cLopez de Hoyos\u201d<\/em> y <em>\u201cCovadonga\u201d<\/em>. El \u201cMarvi\u201d, proyectado por los arquitectos <strong>Felipe Heredero<\/strong> y<strong> Carlos Sobrini<\/strong>, se mantuvo como cine hasta 1980. Luego comenz\u00f3 a funcionar como bingo -Sala Am\u00e9rica- hasta el a\u00f1o 2008 que cerr\u00f3 definitivamente.
