[III] | Cristina Garc\u00eda-Rosales[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[:es]https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/brasilia-una-gran-maquina-para-habitar-o-una-utopia-hecha-de-realidad-ii-cristina-garcia-rosales\/<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El siglo XX y el Movimiento Moderno <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurri\u00f3 con la llegada del siglo XX? La necesidad de implantar una f\u00f3rmula higienista y humanista dentro de un concepto igualitario de fondo, sobre todo, a partir del final de la guerras mundiales, hizo que arquitectos y urbanistas tuvieran el af\u00e1n de comenzar desde el principio, -entre otras cosas ten\u00edan que reconstruir lo derribado- y se reunieran en distintos Congresos Internacionales de Arquitectura Moderna (CIAM) entre 1929 y 1941.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Necesitaban establecer las bases para transformar la manera de habitar las \u00a0ciudades, donde los ciudadanos, antes y durante las guerras, se hacinaban en l\u00fagubres habitaciones dentro de edificios poco ventilados, sin servicios higi\u00e9nicos y con escasa luz natural. Ciudades que carec\u00edan de parques y de arbolado y cuyos habitantes sufr\u00edan los estragos de numerosas enfermedades debido a la suciedad del entorno y a la escasez de infraestructuras urbanas. Hablo de la llamada \u201cciudad industrial\u201d, polucionada e insalubre que hac\u00eda urgente la creaci\u00f3n de una ciudad nueva para un ser humano nuevo. Se establecieron entonces los postulados de la \u201cCarta de Atenas\u201d (1933) en el IV Congreso de la CIAM, firmada, entre otros, por <strong>Le Corbusier<\/strong> que m\u00e1s tarde los utiliz\u00f3 para su <strong>ciudad ideal \u201cLa Ville Radieux\u201d<\/strong>. He aqu\u00ed sus objetivos b\u00e1sicos:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">-Residencias bien ventiladas y soleadas cercanas a los espacios verdes. (HABITAR)<br \/>\n-Separaci\u00f3n de las viviendas de los lugares de trabajo, con las industrias situadas fuera de la ciudad. (TRABAJAR)<br \/>\n-Espacio exclusivo para las actividades culturales. (CULTIVAR EL CUERPO Y EL ESP\u00cdRITU)<br \/>\n-Separaci\u00f3n de la circulaci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos de la de los peatones. (CIRCULAR).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se incluyeron las exigencias que estaban estudi\u00e1ndose en ese crucial momento: la unidad m\u00ednima de habitaci\u00f3n, los est\u00e1ndares higi\u00e9nicos y habitables, la \u00a0construcci\u00f3n a base de pilotes y de hormig\u00f3n, la ventilaci\u00f3n cruzada, la utilizaci\u00f3n del vidrio, la l\u00ednea recta y sin ornamentos, el uso de las azoteas planas y la creaci\u00f3n de espacios superiores con vegetaci\u00f3n, la fachada y la planta libre, la ventana sesgada, el <em>brise soleil<\/em> o parasol, la implantaci\u00f3n de jardines y arbolado dentro de la ciudad o la estricta separaci\u00f3n de funciones (residencia, trabajo y ocio). En cuanto al planeamiento, \u00e9ste comenz\u00f3 a ser m\u00e1s libre de acorde con el \u201cesp\u00edritu moderno de la \u00e9poca\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parec\u00eda que una era nueva comenzaba, repleta de ideas, de esp\u00edritu creativo y de s\u00edntesis, lejos de las aberraciones de las ciudades anteriores.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201c<em>Una gran \u00e9poca acaba de comenzar<\/em>\u201d,<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">proclamaba el arquitecto Le Corbusier.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero como todo lo que comienza con esa necesidad acuciante de partir de cero, tuvo grandes fallos. Uno de ellos fue hacer tabla rasa con los \u201canticuados\u201d modelos de las ciudades del pasado cuyos elementos deb\u00edan de ser anulados por completo. Una planificaci\u00f3n excesivamente compacta que no permitir\u00eda variaciones posteriores, una divisi\u00f3n estricta de funciones dentro de la urbe y el entendimiento de las calles como <em>\u201cun camino muy pisado por el eterno caminante, una reliquia de los siglos o un desarticulado \u00f3rgano que no puede funcionar\u201d<\/em> y su sustituci\u00f3n por el jard\u00edn ingl\u00e9s, son conceptos excesivamente r\u00edgidos para planificar una ciudad, un organismo vivo en constante desarrollo y mejora, a pesar de sus conflictos e inevitables tensiones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De esta amalgama de contradicciones que unen presente, pasado y futuro, nace Brasilia, a la que Andr\u00e9 Malraux llama \u201c<em>la ciudad de la esperanza\u201d. <\/em>Y nace con un deseo pol\u00edtico importante: llegar a ser una ciudad ideal acorde con los principios socialdem\u00f3cratas, igualitarios y libres del momento. Y sin clases sociales. Adem\u00e1s deb\u00eda de albergar a la sede del Gobierno Federal, hasta entonces en R\u00edo de Janeiro. Una capital en el centro del territorio, en la zona del Distrito Federal, dentro de un ecosistema especial llamado Cerrado, semejante a la sabana. Una capital que contribuir\u00eda al desarrollo de las regiones v\u00edrgenes interiores que durante tanto tiempo hab\u00edan preocupado a Brasil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El lugar elegido: un altiplano suavemente ondulado en el estado de Goi\u00e1s. El equipo de planeamiento estuvo a cargo de <strong>Lucio Costa<\/strong>, ganador del concurso de ideas convocado, gracias a sus esquemas ilustrativos dibujados a mano alzada y a su ejemplar memoria explicativa, a la que m\u00e1s tarde volveremos. Las principales construcciones corrieron a cargo del genio creador de <strong>Oscar Niemeyer<\/strong>, as\u00ed como la supervisi\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o de resto de los edificios. Los espacios p\u00fablicos y jardines fueron obra del paisajista <strong>Roberto Burle-Marx<\/strong>. Los tres, arquitectos brasile\u00f1os. Se hab\u00edan proyectado y construido edificios en R\u00edo de Janeiro \u00a0(el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n y Sanidad, cuyos autores fueron los arquitectos Oscar Niemeyer y Lucio Costa, en consulta con Le Corbusier), Sao Paolo y Pampulha (la ondulada y r\u00edtmica Casa do Baile de Niemeyer) siguiendo las directrices del Movimiento Moderno y de las vanguardias. Le Corbusier hab\u00eda visitado el pa\u00eds en varias ocasiones para impartir conferencias. Y Gropius, fundador de la Bauhaus, se complac\u00eda con la original manera que ten\u00edan los brasile\u00f1os de adaptar las nuevas formas internacionales al clima y a las costumbres vern\u00e1culas, aunque tambi\u00e9n hubo quienes las tacharon de excesivamente formalistas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1942 el Museo de Arte Moderno de Nueva York organiz\u00f3 una exposici\u00f3n, recogida en el libro \u201c<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/gp\/product\/1174647418\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=3638&amp;creative=24630&amp;creativeASIN=1174647418&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=veredes-21&amp;linkId=bca2d586e0848042dbd1500c85c3168b\" target=\"_blank\">Brazil Builds<\/a>\u201d, <\/em>que consolida e impulsa la fama de la arquitectura brasile\u00f1a. Estamos pues dentro de un clima muy favorable para que las \u00faltimas tendencias de planeamiento se desarrollen en la nueva capital, con un concepto nuevo de ambiente urbano y de arquitectura, de dif\u00edcil adaptaci\u00f3n a las ciudades ya existentes.<\/p>\n<p>Cristina Garc\u00eda-Rosales. (CIRCULAR).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inclu\u00edronse as esixencias que estaban estud\u00e1ndose nese crucial momento: a unidade m\u00ednima de habitaci\u00f3n, os est\u00e1ndares higi\u00e9nicos e habitables, a construci\u00f3n a base de pilotes e de hormig\u00f3n, a ventilaci\u00f3n cruzada, a utilizaci\u00f3n do vidro, a li\u00f1a recta e sen ornamentos, o uso das azoteas planas e a creaci\u00f3n de espazos superiores con vegetaci\u00f3n, a fachada e a planta libre, a fiestra sesgada, o <em>brise soleil<\/em> ou parasol, a implantaci\u00f3n de xard\u00edns e arbolado dentro da cidade ou a estrita separaci\u00f3n de funci\u00f3ns (residencia, traballo e lecer). O equipo de achaiadura estivo a cargo de <strong>Lucio Costa<\/strong>, ganador do concurso de ideas convocado, grazas aos seus esquemas ilustrativos debuxados a man alzada e \u00e1 s\u00faa exemplar memoria explicativa, \u00e1 que m\u00e1is tarde volveremos. As principais construci\u00f3ns correron a cargo do xenio creador de<strong> Oscar Niemeyer<\/strong>, as\u00ed como a supervisi\u00f3n do dese\u00f1o de resto dos edificios. Os espazos p\u00fablicos e xard\u00edns foron obra do paisajista <strong>Roberto Burle-Marx<\/strong>. Os tres, arquitectos brasileiros. The need to implant a formula hygienist and humanist inside an igalitarian concept of bottom, especially, from the end of the guerras mundial, did that architects and town planners had the zeal to begin from the beginning, &#8211; among other things other things had to reconstruct the demolished thing &#8211; and they were meeting in different International Congresses of Modern Architecture (CIAM) between 1929 and 1941.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They needed to establish the bases to transform the way of living the cities, where the citizens, before and during the wars, were packed in lugubrious rooms inside slightly drafty buildings, without hygienic services and with scanty natural light. Cities that were lacking parks and woodland and which inhabitants were suffering the devastations of numerous diseases due to the dirt of the environment and the shortage of urban infrastructures. I speak about the so called \u00bb industrial city \u00ab, polucionada and unhealthy that was making urgent the creation of a new city for a human new being. There established then the postulates of the \u00bb Letter of Athens \u00bb (1933) in the Congress IV of the CIAM, signed, between others, for <strong>Le Corbusier<\/strong> that later used them for his <strong>ideal city \u00bb The Ville Radieux \u00ab<\/strong>. Are here his basic aims:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Drafty well and sunny residences near to the green spaces. (TO (LIVE)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Separation of the housings of the places of work, with the industries placed out of the city. Exclusive space (WORKS)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; For the cultural activities. An excessively compact planning that would not allow later variations, a strict division of functions inside the city and the understanding of the streets as <em>\u00aba way very trodden by the eternal wayfarer, a relic of the centuries or a dismantled organ that cannot work\u00bb<\/em> and his substitution for the garden Englishman, they are excessively rigid concepts to plan a city, an alive organism in constant development and improvement, in spite of his conflicts and inevitable tensions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Of this amalgam of contradictions that join present, past and future, there is born Brasilia, to which Andr\u00e9 Malraux calls<em> \u00abthe city of the hope\u00bb<\/em>. And it is born with a political important desire: to manage to be an ideal city according to the Social-Democratic, igalitarian and free beginning of the moment. And without social classes. In addition it must shelter to the headquarters of the Federal Government, till then in Rio de Janeiro.
