Despu\u00e9s de hacernos conscientes sobre aquello que influye en el dise\u00f1o y proyecci\u00f3n de las ciudades, Hustwit refiere las innegables consecuencias de la\u00a0 migraci\u00f3n urbana que ha tenido lugar en este \u00faltimo siglo. Actualmente, el 50% de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial vive en ciudades, lo que ha causando un crecimiento sumamente acelerado de la poblaci\u00f3n en las metr\u00f3polis. Esto relega a millones de personas en condiciones de espacio sumamente reducidas y sin acceso a los servicios m\u00e1s b\u00e1sicos.
