El Premio Europeo del Espacio P\u00fablico Urbano, creado en el a\u00f1o 2000, es un certamen bianual organizado con el fin de reconocer y estimular la creaci\u00f3n, recuperaci\u00f3n y mejora del espacio p\u00fablico en nuestras ciudades. Con una vocaci\u00f3n claramente europe\u00edsta, el Premio hace hincapi\u00e9 en la dimensi\u00f3n social y pol\u00edtica de la arquitectura.
