Uno de los objetivos de este taller es la determinaci\u00f3n de las estrategias a seguir para la adaptaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas de industrializaci\u00f3n robotizadas a la construcci\u00f3n de la arquitectura. Pike Loop es una pieza de 22m de largo, un muro estructural construido con ladrillos, un material de construcci\u00f3n ampliamente presente y de car\u00e1cter tradicional en Nueva York. M\u00e1s de siete mil ladrillos se van sumando para tejer un muro construido con una precisi\u00f3n de mil\u00edmetros, imposible de ejecutar mediante la mano humana. El ladrillo se convierte as\u00ed en un elemento capaz de construir geometr\u00edas que recuerdan a las superficies de chapa de Frank Gehry o las l\u00e1minas de acero de Richard Serra. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la capacidad tecnol\u00f3gica del robot ROB, su utilizaci\u00f3n ha posibilitando la recuperaci\u00f3n del ladrillo para la arquitectura de vanguardia y ha abierto nuevas v\u00edas de experimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_41462\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41462\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/ROB_pike_loop-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41462\" title=\"ROB_pike_loop-(2)\" src=\"http:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/ROB_pike_loop-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/ROB_pike_loop-2.jpg 620w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/ROB_pike_loop-2-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-41462\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\">Pike Loop<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuando los arquitectos Bearth &amp; Deplazes recibieron el encargo para realizar un almac\u00e9n en los Vi\u00f1edos Gantenbein, decidieron utilizar esta t\u00e9cnica de fabricaci\u00f3n para elaborar las fachadas del nuevo edificio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El dise\u00f1o inicial propon\u00eda un esqueleto simple relleno de ladrillos: los ladrillos act\u00faan como un material como buena inercia t\u00e9rmica, adem\u00e1s de como filtros de la luz solar para que la fermentaci\u00f3n se produzca tras las celos\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El m\u00e9todo de producci\u00f3n robotizada permiti\u00f3 colocar cada uno de los 20.000 ladrillos de forma precisa de acuerdo con los par\u00e1metros matem\u00e1ticos, el \u00e1ngulo deseado y los intervalos exactos prescritos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La fachada esta conformada por 72 elementos prefabricados generados de forma altamente tecnol\u00f3gica por medio del robot. Los elementos del muro se manufacturaron como un proyecto piloto en las \u00e1reas de producci\u00f3n de la ETH de Zurich, y fueron transportados uno por uno a la obra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La imagen de la fachada quiere asemejarse a una enorme cesta llena de uvas. En una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s cercana, en contraste con el efecto pict\u00f3rico de la distancia, es la materialidad, la textura del muro la que adquiere el protagonismo frente a la masa de ladrillos. Sorprende la contradicci\u00f3n entre las suaves y redondeadas formas resultantes que realmente se componen de duras y r\u00edgidas unidades de ladrillos. La fachada aparece como una forma s\u00f3lida pero din\u00e1mica. Para el ojo humano, las sutiles diferencias entre color e iluminaci\u00f3n y el reflejo de los ladrillos crean una apariencia y plasticidad que est\u00e1 constantemente cambiando junto con el movimiento del observador y del sol con el curso de las horas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este edificio que en cierto modo podr\u00eda considerarse a\u00fan experimental refleja los esfuerzos que la arquitectura est\u00e1 realizando por reinterpretarse y por cambiar no solo su imagen exterior en busca de la espectacularidad sino sus propios sistemas productivos. Os elementos do muro manufactur\u00e1ronse como un proxecto piloto nas \u00e1reas de produci\u00f3n da ETH de Z\u00fcrich, e foron transportados un por un \u00e1 obra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A imaxe da fachada quere asemellarse a unha enorme cesta chea de uvas. Nunha visi\u00f3n m\u00e1is pr\u00f3xima, en contraste co efecto pict\u00f3rico da distancia, \u00e9 a materialidade, a textura do muro a que adquire o protagonismo fronte \u00e1 masa de ladrillos. Sorprende a contradici\u00f3n entre as suaves e redondeadas formas resultantes que realmente se compo\u00f1en de duras e r\u00edxidas unidades de ladrillos. A fachada aparece como unha forma s\u00f3lida pero din\u00e1mica.
