La serie fotogr\u00e1fica Afganist\u00e1n, trabajo realizado en el pa\u00eds centroasi\u00e1tico por Francesco Cocco en 2009 junto a la organizaci\u00f3n italiana Emergency, ha recibido este a\u00f1o el primer premio con tres instant\u00e1neas en blanco y negro. \u00abEs muy dif\u00edcil trabajar en Afganist\u00e1n, muy peligroso. No puedes estar m\u00e1s de 30 \u00f3 45 minutos en el mismo sitio porque te conviertes en objetivo\u00bb.Cocco, seg\u00fan cuenta a EL PA\u00cdS en conversaci\u00f3n telef\u00f3nica, quiso durante su estancia en Afganist\u00e1n escaparse del relato de la guerra visto desde la trinchera y recoger -siempre en compa\u00f1\u00eda de la ONG- la \u00abvida cotidiana\u00bb de la sociedad afgana. Y no deja indiferente: \u00abLa c\u00e1mara -explica- te ayuda para no relacionarte afectivamente. Te protege\u00bb.Las huellas de la violencia en el rostro, el desgarro de la guerra en un animal y la discriminaci\u00f3n e invisibilidad de la mujer afgana presiden con la firma de Cocco la muestra que la Casa Encendida recoge junto a otras 26 instant\u00e1neas seleccionadas por el certamen (de un total de 545) y que recorren desde las inundaciones en la India o la vida bajo tierra en Mongolia hasta la sacudida de la enfermedad del chagas en Am\u00e9rica Latina.El foco de las c\u00e1maras viaja estos d\u00edas a contar el drama humanitario causado por el se\u00edsmo de Hat\u00ed. \u00abHe visto hoy -comenta Cocco- algunas fotos en los peri\u00f3dicos espa\u00f1oles. Algunas son un poco fuertes, violentas y gratuitas.
