Casa de veraneo construida para el Bar\u00f3n de Saavedra y su esposa, Carmem Proen\u00e7a. La obra se enmarca dentro una vertiente espec\u00edfica de la arquitectura moderna brasile\u00f1a que comez\u00f3 a delinearse al inicio de los a\u00f1os 1930 se produce y cuya maturalidad se encontraba comprendida entre los primeros a\u00f1os de la d\u00e9cada de 1940 y mediados de la d\u00e9cada de 1950.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A veces denominada \u201cnativista\u201d o \u201carquitetura nueva da tradici\u00f3n local\u201d, esa parcela de la produci\u00f3n nacional tiene como valedoro conceptual principal las ideas del arquiteto Lucio Costa.
