En la b\u00fasqueda para abaratar costes, Schindler abandon\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n en hormig\u00f3n, y comenz\u00f3 a dise\u00f1ar con paneles de yeso. Este tipo de construcci\u00f3n caracter\u00edz\u00f3 su obra de los a\u00f1os 30 y 40, aunque lo que no cambi\u00f3 fue su inter\u00e9s en la forma y el espacio.
