Se invit\u00f3 a las naciones a realizar actividades relacionadas con la conservaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de los recursos h\u00eddricos, apelando a la puesta en pr\u00e1ctica de las recomendaciones de la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo contenidas en el Cap\u00edtulo 18 (Recursos de Agua Dulce) de la Agenda 21. Cada a\u00f1o una Agencia de las ONU diferente ha producido una serie de comunicados de prensa alrededor del D\u00eda Mundial del Agua, que han sido distribuidos a trav\u00e9s de la red de contactos de cada agencia. La celebraci\u00f3n de este d\u00eda tiene por objeto fomentar la comprensi\u00f3n de la medida en que el desarrollo de los recursos h\u00eddricos contribuyen a la productividad econ\u00f3mica y al bienestar social. Adem\u00e1s de los pa\u00edses miembros de la ONU, varias ONG que promueven el agua limpia y h\u00e1bitats acu\u00e1ticos sustentables han utilizado el D\u00eda Mundial del Agua para llamar la atenci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico hacia el cr\u00edtico tema del agua en nuestra era.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/logohome_es.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11841\" title=\"logohome_es\" src=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/logohome_es.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"335\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/logohome_es.jpg 335w, https:\/\/veredes.es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/logohome_es-300x257.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 335px) 100vw, 335px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El objetivo del D\u00eda Mundial del Agua 2011 (DMA 2011)<\/strong> es centrar la atenci\u00f3n internacional sobre el impacto del r\u00e1pido crecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n urbana, la industrializaci\u00f3n y la incertidumbre causada por el cambio clim\u00e1tico, los conflictos y los desastres naturales sobre los sistemas urbanos de abastecimiento de agua. Convidouse as naci\u00f3ns a realizar actividades relacionadas coa conservaci\u00f3n e o desenvolvemento dos recursos h\u00eddricos, apelando \u00e1 posta en pr\u00e1ctica das recomendaci\u00f3ns da Conferencia das Naci\u00f3ns Unidas sobre Medio Ambiente e Desenvolvemento contidas no Cap\u00edtulo 18 (Recursos de Auga Doce) da Axenda 21. Cada ano unha Axencia das ONU diferente ha producido unha serie de comunicados de prensa ao redor do D\u00eda Mundial da auga, que foron distribu\u00eddos a trav\u00e9s da rede de contactos de cada axencia. A celebraci\u00f3n deste d\u00eda ten por obxecto fomentar a comprensi\u00f3n da medida en que o desenvolvemento dos recursos h\u00eddricos contrib\u00faen \u00e1 produtividade econ\u00f3mica e ao benestar social.
