Es indudable la fuerza y el car\u00e1cter de los protagonistas de aquella producci\u00f3n, uno de los legados de Arquitectura Moderna m\u00e1s interesantes por sus connotaciones de libertad y experimentaci\u00f3n en un entorno mucho m\u00e1s libre de prejuicios que el viejo continente. Pero el colombiano Felipe Hern\u00e1ndez, arquitecto y profesor de la Universidad de Cambridge, ha querido centrarse en la arquitectura que se hace ahora en Am\u00e9rica Latina, en gran medida antag\u00f3nica a la de los maestros del Movimiento Moderno, reflejo de una situaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica y social muy determinada a la que adem\u00e1s hay que a\u00f1adir las condiciones f\u00edsicas y geogr\u00e1ficas diversas de una \u00e1mbito tan extenso como es Am\u00e9rica Latina. Por ello frente a la homogeneidad de la Arquitectura Moderna, este libro ofrece un panorama heterog\u00e9neo y vital.
