Es indudable la fuerza y el car\u00e1cter de los protagonistas de aquella producci\u00f3n, uno de los legados de Arquitectura Moderna m\u00e1s interesantes por sus connotaciones de libertad y experimentaci\u00f3n en un entorno mucho m\u00e1s libre de prejuicios que el viejo continente. Pero el colombiano Felipe Hern\u00e1ndez, arquitecto y profesor de la Universidad de Cambridge, ha querido centrarse en la arquitectura que se hace ahora en Am\u00e9rica Latina, en gran medida antag\u00f3nica a la de los maestros del Movimiento Moderno, reflejo de una situaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica y social muy determinada a la que adem\u00e1s hay que a\u00f1adir las condiciones f\u00edsicas y geogr\u00e1ficas diversas de una \u00e1mbito tan extenso como es Am\u00e9rica Latina. Por ello frente a la homogeneidad de la Arquitectura Moderna, este libro ofrece un panorama heterog\u00e9neo y vital. It is undoubted the strength and the character of the protagonists of that production, one of the bequeathed of Modern Architecture more interesting by his connotations of freedom and experimentation in some much freer surroundings of prejudices that the old continent. But the Colombian Felipe Hern\u00e1ndez, architect and professor of the University of Cambridge, has wanted to centre in the architecture that does\u00a0 now in Latin America, to a large extent antag\u00f3nica to the one of the teachers of the Modern Movement, reflection of a political and social situation very determined to which besides is necessary to add the physical and geographic conditions diverse of a so extensive field as it is Latin America. Thus in front of the homogeneity of the Modern Architecture, this book offers a heterogeneous and vital panorama.
