Con el colapso total de toda planificaci\u00f3n urban\u00edstica, la grave reducci\u00f3n de los programas de obra p\u00fablica y la falta de mecenazgo privado, los arquitectos se vieron obligados a desarrollar toda una serie de nuevas metodolog\u00edas proyectuaeles. Rupnik gu\u00eda al lector en la aparici\u00f3n de este fascinante panorama de arquitectura que tuvo lugar al lado mismo de la Europa unida, utilizando la teor\u00eda Ljubo Karaman, que considera la periferia como un espacio de producci\u00f3n art\u00edstica; y nociones contempor\u00e1neas de acci\u00f3n. Ivan Rupnik guides us through the emergence of this bizarre and fascinating architectural scene on the very edge of united Europe, utilizing Ljubo Karaman&#8217;s theory of the periphery as a distinct space of artistic production from that of the center or province, Manfredo Tafuri&#8217;s concept of architectural experimentation, as well contemporary notions of agency.
