Ribadeo is a seaworthy villa of approximately ten thousand inhabitants placed in the border between Galicia and Asturias with a historical protected hull and a maritime edge of certain interest.
The difference between both, of more than thirty meters in little space, impedes the communication between both and favors the marginalization of certain areas located in bottom of sack.
Our offer raises a connecting element in the kneecap between both worlds that the communication favors. A framework of black concrete with texture of slate contains a panoramic elevator with his associate stairs.
In the base a small shed of information and control; in the high thing they work the slopes that surround the porch of the chapel of the Watchtower and the former wall to favor the accessibility.
Some linear signpostings tint the existing lighting in this zone.
In the elevator, small leds of comity.
Concrete, stone and steel complete an austere palette of materials, with vocation of integration, which if a tower of the former wall was, but without resigning the representative character that an urban action and landscape painter like this one must have. In the end it is the highest “building” of the villa.
