The existing housing is a rural traditional construction of an antiquity superior to 60 years. His structure is of walls of masonry that are covered with partial form towards the exterior with mortar of lime, the cover is of Arabic tile. The house arranges in direction almost parallel to the adjoining west, from which it has the access rolled about the part more to the north of the plot. His ground floor places on the area in three successive terraces, the superior is occupied by a press, in the intermediate one one finds the entry of the house and the kitchen and the lowest is occupied by a store and a former stable, on the latter level a high plant of bedrooms exists at present. In the configuration of the plant it appreciates the condition aditiva of this architecture, the final form is generated by successive addition in the time of simple volumes.
The rehabilitation tries to emphasize this recognition of the quite obtained one as the skilful sum of parts, and this way each of them you were squeaking structural she will be occupied by the different uses of the house without insisting too much on the optimization of the functional hierarchy. The entry continues taking place for the central piece that liberated of the hillock that today determines his height will be a room of between 3 and 4 meters of height in the one that is the kitchen conforming as the room on which others tilt, it her was squeaking more in the southern part where today one finds the press it connects internally with the kitchen by means of a few steps that save the difference of current level and is formed as a stay in which they could give him diverse uses: to eat in summer, study or others that could be needed in the time. The north part of the house – with two heights – will be occupied by two bedrooms in ground floor and the room of being with conference towards the valley and a bedroom in the high plant.
Functional, formal and technical aspects.
The rehabilitation that we propose ourselves claims the sensitive and educated utilization of the existing material thing in such a way that the introduction of new technologies is never realized from a constructive thought of continuity and break or contrast with what it is. The rehabilitation will be done by technologies little weighed without an exagerate own weight that deforms furthermore the former walls, one does not try to avoid the discontinuities of the factories or the small collapses that they have acquired with the years if not that one works with them in what they have of demonstration of the passage of time, of patina on the constructed.
It´s learned of the density that the thickness of the walls gives him to the natural light and of the cleanliness of the carpentries in his union with the factory, and of the solid one it was squeaking structurally as creative of spatial enclosures, as well as of the simplicity and hidden not specialization of the plant. The structure amble will be the current one, walls of masonry of granite. It will be modified punctually for the opening of some hollow that contributes to the interior lighting of the stays.
These walls trasdosarán towards the interior with plates of carton plaster before isolated. Towards the exterior the seen masonry will be left in occasions and in the fronts of the most unfavorable orientation – south, southwest – they will re-dress in mortar of lime. The horizontal structure will be of girders and joists of wood: fir or Russian pine preferably, the entrevigado will be done by phenolic boards. The cover will be constructed of similar form and will cover on the outside with plates of fibrocemento and Arabic tile. The thermal conditioning insures itself by means of the joint work of the thickness of the walls of front and the thermal isolation, the thickness from the latter will come in the cover up to 10 cm. The principal source of energy for heating and ACS will be the diesel oil that will conjugate with solar thermal panels. The ventilation is assured by the windows and practicable doors.
